An overall improvement was what was thought of, was what was there in the mind, but never knew, at least did not even think of as to how the things will progress, whether or not there will be any growth that will be achieved. This is also because a lot of things have changed since the last few years. Different is the nature of things, different from usual, definitely different, certainly different.
As and when there seems to be a future, a future prospect, future about something, positive is the attitude towards life, at least that is what it seems to be.
To move ahead is not only important, but to move ahead in the right direction is more importantly important. So as one makes a progress there is an addition in the responsibilities that an individual was having up until now.
A shift, a change, a movement, a gradual movement. Within an organization for an individual it is possible to begin to work at a lower level, where he can not only learn about things as to how they function and what is the use of different tools, etc, but then following that the individual will start to look upon as to how to improve himself and climb the ladder. It is at this junction that the mind of an individual starts ticking and what follows next is an execution of what was thought of, that which was determined by the mind long time ago, at the subconscious level it had already existed.
Growth and improvement are different from each other. An individual will always look out for growth as far as the future is concerned, but definitely he will not give improvement that much attention. The reason for an individual to give importance and prominence to growth is because of the gains that are related as the process of growth when it sets in. But then even when an individual does not pay attention to the process of improvement, then at that point of time it is quite possible that the individual will be able to skip the fact that he did not pay attention to improvement, but later on he will definitely have to accept the fact that improvement is very much necessary as far as a secured future is concerned and as far as his mind and his thoughts are concerned regarding the process of growth.
The growth can be that of an organization where an individual is working or that of the individual himself, but when it comes to improvement it is kind of, for the time being. So what is needed is a clear mindset as far as the process of thinking about things is concerned and also when it comes to execution of the task.
Improvement is not like an innovation, but improvement is making sure that all the things have been covered, told and presented in the right manner.
Thus even when an individual makes an effort to improve himself it is very important for the individual to keep in mind that he does not miss out the fact that he needs to move ahead and achieve his targeted goal.
A perpetual growth cannot be achieved if one does not surpass the odds, does not improve upon his own previous scores/results and does not improve by making an effort to rectify the mistakes from the past.
