Changing Times

Hope and desire are not related to each other and are completely different from each other.  The hope that something good will happen is related to the future and the desire that something good must happen is related to the present and existing conditions.  Like for instance, the hope that the rains will not come and the match will take place is related to future.  The desire that India must bat first is related to the present and existing condition with respect to the fact whether or not toss has taken place or why even if the opposition team wins the toss still they must do bowling first and not batting.  At times an individual dreams about many things, but there are certain habits that an individual follows without fail right from childhood.  The habit of a person once it is developed is difficult to change or mend ways.  So it is better to have good habits right from the beginning.  Thus the start of the day gives rise to a new hope and the end of the day gives rise to a desire that even this thing was possible and it might have happened if certain things would have fallen in place.  At times it is desire that drives a person to give his best and at times it is the hope which enables a person to keep on performing along with time.  Whatever is the case, the final thing is that, a person must be able to reach his goal.

Opinions do matter, criticism also is important, but what is more important is how to take in stride the opinions and criticism of other people.  At times opinions and criticism can be very useful, but at the same time they can bring in a wave of destruction, capable enough to change your mind as to whether or not to continue with the present work.  It is very obvious that at times people give opinions that are only based on their own personal choice and likes and they are least bothered about what the person, on whom they are commenting undergoes after the verdict is given.  It is true that sky is the limit and competition is always going to be there, but in order to win the race is it necessary to break the rules and use means which are not legitimate and prove oneself to be superior.  It is high time that one realizes that even the best of things in the world have to face a competition and victory of today is going to remain with you, but at the same point of time there is someone who is also very much superior to you.  At times satisfaction is not just a term or word, but it also points finger to the fact that what a person is capable of.  If a person is capable of doing something which is much more than his present task, then the first thing that the person must do is to take himself to the bigger platform, by doing this he will make space for many more to come to that platform on which he was operating and at the same point of time he will be able to realize his complete potential.  It is always better to have a thing done completely rather than just repeating the same thing again and again.
